The Rumpelstiltskin Affair
The Rumpelstiltskin affair
A White Owl Adventure
A late March snow blew playfully through the streets of Queen City, touching all parts of the town from Fountain Square north to the Tri County area. And in the section known as University Heights, in a shabby comic book store, Jeff Becker sighed one more time as the hands on the clock slowly marched toward seven pm.
He had just begun to tidy up the Phantasy Emporium when the door chimed. Jeff glowered, and said, “I'm sorry, but we were about to close for the night. Could you possibly come back tomorrow?”
He looked over the counter but saw no one. “I'm down here,”

The Dead of Night (Part 1)
Bethany Hunter pursed her lips. As a private investigator working in Fortune City, she thought she’d seen it all: wealthy heiresses, jealous husbands, narcissistic pimps and strippers with supermodel bodies begging for another score. But she had never seen this. He was six feet tall, easy. Broad shoulders and an even broader chest that pressed into the lines of his shirt. His dark navy blue suit was all custom -- it had to be, considering his size -- lined with featherweight cashmere and silky Egyptian cotton. Let's talk about OCs
This is my eighth story featuring Ms. Kent from the Librarian Perils series created by Ms. Kent's owner, . I'm so glad that she lets me continue to write these stories because I really enjoy the challenges they present. I also need to thank Chryseis for providing the artwork for the story. You should check out Chrys's gallery to read about all of her OCs -- Ms. Kent, Amazon Arrow, and Glamour Girl.
This story also features Wisp, the fairy heroine created and owned by . As I wrote this story, Jess provided me with a lot of help and answered many questions I had about Wisp and the fairies in Wisp's continuity. Mentioned in this story are references to Wisp's first visit to the Fairie Realm, lessons learned from her father, and a conversation with Oberon, all of which occurred in Visiting the Fairealm Part 2. Jess's stories are fun, creative, interesting and well-written, so if you haven't checked them out, you really should.
Titania, of course, is an OC of William Shakespeare
